Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. At the regular Cabinet meeting today on January 5, the temporary regulations on operations of businesses were updated.

Currently, 66.5 percent of the country’s total population have been involved in two doses, while 28.5 percent have been administered with boosters. “As there have been significant changes in the state of circumstances compared to when COVID-19 infections began to be detected, it became necessary to update the regulations,” highlighted Secretary-General of the State Emergency Commission T.Bayarkhuu. The new regulations will be introduced in further detail in the near future, he noted.

“The 18 types of operations that were restricted for the Orange Level have now been reduced to 15. As for the Yellow Level, it was decided to not impose any restrictions for businesses. With the updated regulations, it becomes necessary to develop and adhere to a special set of regulations suited to the features of entities and organizations’ operations. In other words, the corresponding regulations will be implemented if COVID-19 infections are detected at the organization.”
