Ulaanbaatar, May 28, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The Bogd Khaan Palace Museum is organizing the “Spring in Khaan's Palace” Special Event for the fifth year.

Director of the Bogd Khaan Palace Museum Erdenebaatar Tseveg-Ochir said, “We have been organizing the annual Event for the fifth year. We will be serving vegan food to all the visitors. This year, a new exhibition “Bichig Utgyn Gegee” (Light of Script) is being held for the National Language and Script Day. We are also conducting new educational activities on the occasion of the 390th anniversary of the birth of Undur Gegeen Zanabazar, the First Bogd Javzandamba Khutagt. The Special Event includes art performances and Mongolian dances, aiming at enlightening the people, instilling patriotism in children and young people, and protecting our heritage and culture.”

The “Bichig Utgyn Gegee” exhibition features more than 30 exhibits, including the decrees of the Dalai Lama and Bogd Khaan, seals with scripts, Tibetan Mongolian manuscripts and wooden block printed sutras, and items with alphabets or scripts. The manuscripts and sutras in the Bogd Khaan’s Palace were transferred to the National Library of Mongolia in 1925 and are stored in the Mongolian Wooden Block Printed Sutras and Manuscript Fund. A box for letters, including important documents relating to the foreign relations of the Bogd Khaan, is among the highlights of this exhibition. In addition, the educational program will promote and publicize exhibits of the Bogd Khaan Palace Museum, written in Mongolian.

The Special Event, which continues from May 27 to June 1, 2025, offers free admission for seniors and people with special needs, while adults and students will receive a 50 percent discount.
