Sh.Davaadorj grabs two medals at IISA World Championships

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian swimmer Sh.Davaadorj won silver and bronze medals in breaststroke and butterfly at the 4th International Ice Swimming Association (IISA) Ice Swimming World Championships held on February 4-6 in Glogow, Poland. The 2021 Ice Swimming Championships had been moved to 2022 due to the pandemic.


The participants of the biennial competition competed in 50/100/250/500/1000 meter freestyle, 50/100-meter breaststroke, 50-meter backstroke, 50-meter butterfly, 100-meter individual medley and a mixed 4×50 and 4×250 meter freestyle relay.


The temperature of the water was 5 degrees Celsius and the weather in Glogow was in the 7-10 degree Celsius range.
