Mounted police service to be strengthened

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. On February 17, B.Solongoo, Deputy
Minister of Justice and Internal Affairs, received Philip Malone, Ambassador
Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and
Northern Ireland to Mongolia.
At the beginning of the meeting, Deputy Minister B.Solongoo
introduced that the Government of Mongolia has approved the ‘Legal Reform
Program II’, and within the program, it is pursuing a policy to improve the
legal environment for business and investment through the implementation of legal
reforms to support economic growth.
The two sides exchanged views on cooperation in making
judicial proceedings more accessible, strengthening the work of forensic
agencies in the fight against economic crime and cybercrime and improving the
capacity of the ‘Mounted Police Service’ to maintain public order.
