Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On March 9, Deputy Minister of Education and Science G.Ganbayar received officials led by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Mongolia M.P.Singh.

During the meeting, the sides discussed accelerating the construction of the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Center for Excellence in IT, Communication and Outsourcing in the capital city’s Bayanzurkh district. The project is being carried out with a soft loan from the Government of India and the Indian Export–Import Bank.

There are several advantages to opening the center, such as preparing high-skilled IT specialists and developing outsourcing.

In order to speed up project works, a project implementation unit is planned to be established, which will consist of specialists of the Ministry and the Mongolian University of Science and Technology. At the end of the meeting, the Deputy Minister requested the Indian Ambassador to provide support in accelerating the works to establish a Mongolian-Indian school with non-refundable aid from the Government of India.
