Mongolia, Uzbekistan hold inter-ministerial consultative meeting
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The fifth inter-ministerial
consultative meeting was held virtually between the Ministries of Foreign
Affairs of Mongolia and Uzbekistan on March 15.
The meeting was headed by Deputy Minister for Foreign
Affairs B. Munkhjin and Deputy Foreign
Minister of Uzbekistan Mr. Furqat Sidikov.
Congratulating on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic
relations between the countries, the sides reaffirmed their commitment to
elevate the bilateral relation and cooperation to a new level.
The sides also exchanged views on the current state of the
cooperation between Mongolia and Uzbekistan in the field of politics, trade,
economy, culture, education and humanity, and activities to be implemented in
the near future. Specifically, discussions were held on topics such as supply
of fruits and delicate vegetables from Uzbekistan to Mongolia, cooperation in
the field of agriculture, light industry and intensive livestock farming, and
support partnership in private sector.
In addition, the sides shared their views on improving the
legal environment for bilateral relations and cooperation in the
international and regional arenas.
