Prime Minister L.Oyun-Erdene receives U.S. Ambassador

On May 19, Prime Minister of Mongolia L.Oyun-Erdene received
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to
Mongolia Michael Klecheski.
Previously in January, the Prime Minister had put forth a request to
the side of the U.S. for assistance in supplying COVID-19 vaccines for the
country’s children between the ages of 5-11.
During the meeting, Ambassador Michael Klecheski informed
that the U.S. Government will be supplying 1 million doses of the
Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine through COVAX.
The two sides also exchanged views on foreign investment and
the current international situation.
