Buryat archery tournament of National Naadam Festival taking place

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Buryat archery tournament of the
National Naadam Festival started today at 8:00 am at Archery Field. About 100
archers are testing their skills in the Buryat archery tournament.
Events for the National Naadam Festival began yesterday with Uriankhai archery tournament. In the Uriankhai archery, a total of 330 archers from 21 provinces and nine districts of the capital city competed. As a result, archer N. Jambal from Buyant Soum of Bayan-Ulgii aimag won the top award or a title ‘Erkhii Mergen’ as he took the lead 5 times in the Uriankhai archery. Archer M.Batgerel from Buyant soum of Bayan-Ulgii aimag became a runner-up and was awarded a title ‘Darkhan Mergen’.
