Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. The management team of the Mongolian
Stock Exchange welcomed Dr. Mihaly Patai, Vice President of the Central Bank of
Hungary (Magyar Nemzeti Bank), Member of the Monetary Policy Council, and
Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Budapest Stock Exchange.
During the meeting, both parties presented information on
the current situation and future trends of the stock market, and also exchanged
opinions on opportunities for cooperation.
The origin and development of the stock market in Hungary
can be traced back to the 1860s, and when the country approved the Securities
Act in 1990, the principles of the modern stock market were laid, and the
Budapest Stock Exchange was reorganized. In other words, during the meeting Mr.
Mihaly Patai highlighted that there are many similarities in the modern history
of the capital markets of Hungary and Mongolia, so we will be open to further
cooperation and exchange of experience.
The management team of the Mongolian Stock Exchange
introduced the domestic stock market and expressed willingness to exchange
experience.
