EBRD expresses support for New Revival Policy

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. On September 12, Minister of Economy
and Development Ch. Khurelbaatar received the Resident Representative of the
European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Hannes Takacs.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged their views on the
state of Mongolia's economy, jointly implemented projects and programs, and
future cooperation.
The Minister thanked the EBRD for their cooperation
throughout the years, supporting Mongolia's sustainable development and
economic diversification, as well as their investment in the banking and
financial sector, and the Minister asked them to pay close attention to
investment in the driving force of Mongolia's economy, which is the private
sector.
The EBRD stated that it would fully support the Government's
activities and the implementation of the New Revival Policy. Also, they
provided details about the planned visit from the EBRD Board of Directors to
Mongolia by the end of September.
