Mongolian athlete claims double gold medals at World Kettlebell Champion 2022

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. E. Budjav claims double gold medals at World Kettlebell Champion 2022 in the 68-kilogram weight category. With his victory, he became the first Mongolian athlete ever to win a Gold medal in the World kettlebell championship.


The World kettlebell championship 2022 is taking place in Delhi, India from October 27 to November 1. More than 240 athletes from 18 countries including Mongolia competed in the tournament.




Previously, Budjav Enkhbaatar won a gold medal at the "White Nights" International Tournament and duo silver medals at the Asian Kettlebell Championship 2022 respectively.


Two-time world champion and vice-captain E. Budjav studied at the Defense University of Mongolia from 2017 to 2018 and is currently studying at the Military Academy of Radiation, Chemical, and Biological Defense in Kostroma, Russia.
