COP27 kicks off in Sharm El-Sheikh, President to deliver speech today

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference, COP27, kicked off in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, on November 7, 2022.
Upon his arrival at the International Congress Center of Sharm El-Sheikh City yesterday, the Mongolian President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa was welcomed by Egypt President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
The President participated in an opening plenary and other summit sessions along with other participating heads of state and government.
Today, the President will deliver
a speech during the summit today to express the position of Mongolia in the
fight against climate change, desertification, and reducing global warming and
present the policies and activities implemented at the state level. There will
also be bilateral meetings with heads of state of some countries and leaders of
international organizations.
