II Asia Mining Innovation Development Summit in Beijing

Ulaanbaatar, May 10, 2023 /MONTSAME/. The 2nd Asia Mining Innovation Development Summit is being held in Beijing on May 9-10. Representatives of the Mongolian Embassy in China, Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Mongolian Mining Association are participating in the Summit.
Executive Director of the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry T. Duuren gave a speech "The role of transport and logistics in the development of the mining industry" presenting the economic corridor, coal export capacity, and opportunities for cooperation, and invited potential investors. Executive Director of the Mongolian Mining Association G. Erdenetuya introduced current situation and constraints of the country’s mining sector. From the Chinese side over 600 representatives of major companies, stock exchange and financial experts attended the event, and some Mongolian mining companies presented their projects to build a unified transport and logistics terminal, increase the capacity of ports, and implement them through public-private partnership.
