The 16th Trade and Economic Forum of CCI’s to be Held

Ulaanbaatar, June 2, 2023 /MONTSAME/. The 16th Trade and Economic Forum of the Chambers of Commerce of Mongolia, China, and Russia will be held in Mongolia on June 8-9. The Forum to be organized under the theme "Cooperation and Partnership of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the Construction of Economic Corridor" will discuss the operations of free zones, investment, and cooperation, as well as panel meetings will be held on the sectors of agriculture and tourism.


Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Mongolia A.N. Yevsikov expressed his intention to participate in the Forum during his meeting with the President of the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) O. Amartuvshin.


The Ambassador underscorethat he will cooperate with the MNCCI to correct the unbalanced trade and economic relations between Russia and Mongolia, and to expand the trade turnover. Expressing his understanding that the MNCC is the largest association of companies, enterprises, and manufacturers, he noted that in the future it is necessary to make joint efforts to introduce Mongolian products to the Russian market and increase exports, and informed that a large business group from Russia will take part in the Forum.



MNCCI President O. Amartuvshin informed that the Russian side affirmed that the delegation from Russia to participate in the 16th Trade and Economic Forum of the Chambers of Commerce of Mongolia, China, and Russia comprises the management of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, some 100 representatives of 13 bordering provincesled by the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation S. Katyrin. "This Forum will discuss the issue of the Economic Corridor, which has been debated for many years, and how the Chambers will work together to make it a reality. He handed over the invitation to the Forum, saying that he would put forward the Declaration to be issued from the Forum to relevant government agencies and focus on achieving results.


The meeting was attended by Chairman of the MNCCI T. Duuren, First Secretary of the Russian Embassy T. Danzanov, and Russian Trade Representative M. Vasiliev.
