Weather Warning: Flood Alert

Ulaanbaatar, July 24, 2023 /MONTSAME/. Flooding warnings have been issued as heavy rain is forecasted to hit Ulaanbaatar and its surrounding areas, specifically the Baganuur district, on July 25 and on the night from Tuesday to Wednesday.

 

The water levels of the Selbe River and Terelj River, which pass through Ulaanbaatar city, have increased by 1-3 centimeters. In particular, the Tuul River's water level increased by 45 centimeters as of 8 am this morning. This means that the river level exceeds the dangerous flood level by 18 cm.
