Minister B. Tulga on Official Visit in Inner Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar, August 23, 2023 /MONTSAME/. The delegation led by the Minister
of Mongolia, Chair of the National Commission of Border Port Recovery B.
Tulga commenced official visit to Inner Mongolia at the invitation of the
Government of China on August, 21, 2023. The visit is aimed at bringing the trade
turnover to USD 20 billion as agreed by the Heads of State of the two
countries, as well as making concrete progress on the issue of increasing
border port capacity.
The Chair of the National Commission of Border Port Recovery B. Tulga in his meeting with a CPC Committee
Member, Head of National Office of Port Administration Zhao Zenglian
introduced the port revitalization included in the "New Revival
Policy" of the Government of Mongolia, discussed the pressing issues of the
port cooperation between the two countries, and reached some agreements. He
also met with the Deputy Chairman of
the People’s Government of Inner Mongolia Yang Jing, and exchanged views
on the speedy regulation of the operations of border ports at the local level
within the scope of the port cooperation between the two countries.
The Head of Border Port Administration of Mongolia and Plenipotentiary Representative of the Government B. Batkhishig discussed an issue of coordinating cooperation between the border ports of the two countries with the Chinese officials led by the Head of the Port Administration of Inner Mongolia Shang Zhiqiang. During the visit to last until August 29, the Minister B. Tulga will get acquainted with the auto road and railway construction activities of China's Mandal, Gantsmod, Ulzii, Sekhe, and Erlian ports.
