Ulaanbaatar, December 4, 2023 /MONTSAME/. Summary of this week's events on December 4-9.

In Ulaanbaatar:

December 4: The Mongolian National Film Council in cooperation with the Film Bridge Development Association NGO will hold a press conference about “Kharkhorum” International Film Festival in the National Museum.

December 4: Regular session of the Mongolian People’s Party and Democratic Party in the State Great Khural will be held in the State Palace.

December 4: Minister of Education and Science and Mongolian Foundation for Science and Technology will organize “Science Participation 2023” Forum at the Blue Sky Hotel.

December 4-8: The working group established by the State Great Khural will organize the 1^st stage of the public hearing on the coal case.

December 5: A meeting to present the results of the “Mongolian Business Environment 2023” will be held at the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

December 5, 6: Standing Committee sessions of the State Great Khural will be held.

December 6: The regular meeting of the Cabinet will be held at the State Palace.

December 6-11: The “Street Photo” photo exhibition will open at the National Art Gallery of Mongolia.

December 7: The second General Entrance Exam will start at 10.00am with Mongolian Language Exam. The examination will be held at 6 locations in the capital.

December  7: Mongolian Business Academy will have the Open Day on excellence and next generation leadership and “Collective Brian and Innovation” presentation.

December 7, 8: Plenary session of the State Great Khural will be held.

December 7-12: “Kharkhorum” International Film Festival will start.

December 7-17: A livestock animal census 2023 will be organized at the national level.

December 9-31: “The Nutcracker and the Rat King” performance will be played at the Russian Center of Science and Culture.

Local events:

December 4: The 18^th regular session of the Selenge aimag’s People's Representative Khural will be held.

December 4: The 16^th regular session of the Dundgobi aimag’s People's Representative Khural will be held.

December 4, 5: The 17^th regular session of the Bayankhongor aimag’s People's Representative Khural will be held.

December 5: On the occasion of the 30^th anniversary of the development of the new local government system in Mongolia, 64 wrestlers with state, aimag and soum titles will compete in Selenge aimag. 

December 9, 10: “Kharakhorum Ice Festival 2023” ice climbing winter tourism event will be held at the waterfall Ulaan tributary of the Orkhon River in Bat-Ulziy soum, Uvurkhangai aimag.

December 9, 10: The “Secondary School 2023” league competition among students will be organized regionally at the Central Sports Hall in Sukhbaatar soum, Selenge aimag.

December 10: The winners of the “Vintage 2023” Festival organized by the Mongolian Writers’ Union will be selected in Choibalsan, Dornod aimag.

December 10: The Morin Khuur Ensemble, a laureate of Order of Chinggis Khaan and Cultural Envoy of Mongolia, will perform its masterpieces in Erdenet city, Orkhon aimag.
