Mongolian Women Motorcyclists to Ride the Great Silk Road

Ulaanbaatar, April 11, 2024 /MONTSAME/. Mongolian women motorcyclists N. Orgilmaa and E. Erdenechimeg are planning to travel along the route of the Great Silk Road.
The motorcyclists will travel along the route Ulaanbaatar-Bayan-Ulgii-Russia-Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan-Tajikistan-Uzbekistan-Azerbaijan-Armenia-Georgia-Türkiye-Moscow-Altanbulag-Ulaanbaatar. During the journey, they plan to cover 30,000 km of paved and dirt roads across ten countries in about two months.
Their journey will begin on April 19, 2024, at 08 am from Sukhbaatar Square. Previously, they traveled around Mongolia on motorcycles, covering 5,700 kilometers in 18 days and passing through 10 aimags in total.
N. Orgilmaa has been training in motorsports for 17 years, while E. Erdenechimeg, a water sports athlete, has been involved in motorsports for four years.
