State Secretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Receives Latvian Ambassador

Ulaanbaatar, May 17, 2024 /MONTSAME/. State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Ankhbayar Nyamdorj met non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Latvia to Mongolia Maija Manika on May 16, 2024. At the meeting, they discussed expanding bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.
State Secretary Ankhbayar affirmed his commitment to intensifying inter-ministerial dialogue and consultation. Mr. Ankhbayar emphasized that Mongolia aims at strengthening cooperation with Latvia within the framework of international organizations and the United Nations and expressed gratitude for Latvia’s continued support for Mongolia’s initiatives and recommendations in the regional and international arenas.
Non-resident Ambassador Maija Manika expressed commitment to improving bilateral relations, expanding cooperation in economy, transportation, and humanity, and promoting people’s diplomacy during her term of service.
