State Visit of President of Mongolia to Uzbekistan: President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa Receives Chairperson of the Senate of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbaeva

Ulaanbaatar, June 24, 2024 /MONTSAME/. President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, who is on a State Visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan received the Chairperson of the Senate of Oliy Majlis, the Republic of Uzbekistan Tanzila Narbaeva.
At
the meeting, President Khurelsukh Uhnaa noted that the official talk between Heads of
State was successfully held in a warm, and businesslike atmosphere, and expressed the country’s commitment
to intensifying
the relations and cooperation in all sectors between
Mongolia and Uzbekistan, which share similar
values of the nomadic culture, history, and customs. President expressed confidence that cooperation
between the supreme legislative institutions of the
two countries will play a crucial role and make a contribution to
expanding the relationship between the two
countries.

emphasized that the government, and the parliament of Uzbekistan are attaching
great importance to the State Visit of President of Mongolia, and pledged
all-round support to strengthen the interparliamentary relations between
the two countries.
The parties affirmed their commitment
to closely deepening the relations between the two countries by strengthening
the legal framework in the relationship between the two countries, implementing
reciprocal visits, and exchanging good practices between legislative
institutions
President Khurelsukh signed in the Book of Honorable Guests at the Oliy Majlis of
Uzbekistan.
Parliament of the Republic of
Uzbekistan Oliy Majlis consists of the Senate with 65 members and the
Legislative Chamber with 150 members. A citizen of Uzbekistan who is 25 years
old has a right to be elected to the parliament for a five-year term.
