Mongolian Siblings to Compete in Swimming at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games

Ulaanbaatar, June 24, 2024 /MONTSAME/. Less than a month remains until the opening of the XXXIII Summer Olympics in Paris, the French Republic.


Mongolian athletes to compete in the swimming category in the Paris 2024 have been announced. The International Swimming Federation granted two slots to Mongolia, which were given to International Masters B.Enkhkhuslen and B. Enkhtamir.


The highest-ranking athletes with the most scores were chosen to fill the slots, which were announced yesterday. Older sister B. Enkhkhuslen is leading the ranking of Mongolian swimmers, while younger brother B. Enkhtamir follows in second place. This makes the siblings compete side-by-side in the Mongolian National Team in the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympic Games. 


While there are instances of siblings competing together in the Olympic Games, this is the first time for Mongolia.
