“The MongolZ” Mongolian Esports Team Wins Second Place at Skyesports

Ulaanbaatar, July 29, 2024 /MONTSAME/. Skyesports Championship 2024, a Counter-Strike 2 tournament with a prize pool of USD 300,000 took place on July 23- 28, 2024, in Mumbai, India.
In the A-Tier tournament, the French team “3DMax” won first place, winning USD 120,000, followed by the Mongolian team “The MongolZ”, winning USD 70,000.
“The MongolZ” was anticipated to win the competition, having the highest ranking. The Mongolian team scored three wins and two losses in the group stage, proceeding to the playoff stage. In the playoff stage, “The MongolZ” defeated the Russian team “Amkal” and the Turkish team “Eternal Fire” but lost to the French team “3DMax.”
“The MongolZ” will compete at the “IEM Cologne” a Counter-Strike 2 esports tournament with a prize pool of USD 1,000,000 in Germany next week.
