Ulaanbaatar, August 3, 2024 /MONTSAME/. At the invitation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh, Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines Enrique A. Manalo will pay an official visit to Mongolia on August 3-6, 2024.


As part of the official visit, Secretary of Foreign Affairs Enrique Manalo will pay a courtesy call on Prime Minister of Mongolia Oyun-Erdene Luvsannamsrai, hold official talks with Foreign Minister Battsetseg, and meet with the representatives of security and strategic study institutions of Mongolia.


This will be the first high-level visit made from the Republic of the Philippines to Mongolia since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 1973.


The main goal of this visit is to expand and deepen friendly relations between Mongolia and the Republic of the Philippines, an influential country in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), and enrich cooperation between the two countries with economic content.
