Ulaanbaatar, August 5, 2024 /MONTSAME/. Summary of events for the week of August 5-11, 2024.


In Ulaanbaatar:

August 5: A discussion on the draft of Mongolia’s Government Action Plan for 2024-2028 will be held to reflect proposals from private enterprises and professional institutions.

August 6-11: The Tenth International Children’s Sports Competition to commence.

August 7: The regular meeting of the Cabinet will be held at the State Palace.

August 9: The “All in Hit” concert will be held at the “Hit” park, with Munkhiin Rap, Flash, and No Name music bands to perform. 

August 10: “Cipytop Festival 2024” will be held at the National Amusement Park of Mongolia.

August 10: The “NONSTOP” concert will be held to perform the 60 greatest hits of Mongolia at the Central Stadium of Mongolia.

August 11: “Mongolia, Japan Culture Day 2024” will be held at the “GOLDEN SUN” Event Hall.


Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines Enrique A. Manalo’s official visit to Mongolia is underway.


Local Events:

August 5: The “Aduuchin-2024” competition for horse wranglers will be held at Telmen soum of Zavkhan aimag.

August 7: “Orkhon Valley Horse Herders Festival” will be held at Tsaidam bagh in Khashaat soum of Arkhangai aimag.

August 9, 10: Zamiin-Uud Naadam Festival will be held.

August 10, 11: Aimag’s Elderly Sports Competition will be held at Mandalgobi soum of Dundgobi aimag.


Events Abroad: 

August 5-11: 13 Mongolian athletes will compete in the track and field, freestyle wrestling, and weightlifting competitions at the “Paris 2024” XXXIII Summer Olympics in Paris, France.
