Chairman of the State Great Khural of Mongolia Receives Indian Ambassador to Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar, August 13, 2024 /MONTSAME/. Chairman of the State Great Khural of Mongolia Amarbayasgalan Dashzegve received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Mongolia Atul Malhari Gotsurve on August 12, 2024.

 

At the meeting, Chairman Amarbayasgalan congratulated Ambassador Gotsurve on the 78th Anniversary of Indian Independence and expressed satisfaction with the deepening “Strategic Partnership” between Mongolia and the Republic of India in all areas. Chairman Amarbayasgalan emphasized the crucial role the cooperation between the legislative institutions of the two countries has been playing in expanding bilateral relations and cooperation and strengthening mutual trust and understanding. 

 

Ambassador Gotsurve congratulated Chairman Amarbayasgalan on his election as the Speaker of the State Great Khural and expressed readiness to cooperate in the economic, mining, education, science, and humanitarian sectors. Furthermore, Ambassador Gotsurve underlined that he is paying attention to the construction of the Oil Refinery Plant, which is being built with a soft loan from the Republic of India. The Ambassador highlighted that the Information Technology Training Center and the Mongolia-India Friendship School will be commissioned on the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Republic of India which is marked in 2025.
