Ulaanbaatar, September 5, 2024 /MONTSAME/. State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, L. Munkhtushig met non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Holy See to Mongolia Archbishop Giovanni Gaspari, and received a copy of his credentials.


The two sides discussed enhancing historical relations and cooperation, particularly in cultural and humanitarian sectors. They highlighted the significance of uncovering and introducing into scholarly research historical documents related to Mongolia, preserved in the Vatican Library and Archives.


The two parties reaffirmed their commitment to addressing challenges faced by the international community and strengthening cooperation within the framework of the United Nations and other international organizations.
