Ulaanbaatar, September 23, 2024 /MONTSAME/. “Climate Fresk” NGO held its first workshop in Mongolia among students of the National University of Mongolia (NUM), Mongolian University of Science and Technology (MUST), and Sainshand Polytechnical College on September 16-17, 2024, with the initiative and support of Badrakh Energy.

Climate change is a complex issue affecting the world, yet it remains poorly understood by much of the general population. Since the end of 2018, the “Climate Fresk” NGO has been working to improve the understanding of climate change for people and organizations. Climate change is a problem the world faces and energy transition is the package of solutions to reduce the impact of climate change.

The Non-Governmental Organization is focused on the rapid growth of climate education and a shared understanding of the challenges resulting from climate change.  The facts presented by “Climate Fresk” are drawn from well-known scientific publications and reports of the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and presented as an interactive game. “Climate Fresk” is neutral and objective and presents only established scientific facts.

Climate Fresk also prompts participants to take constructive action to help tackle climate change. With these first workshops in Mongolia, Mongolian youths join the global movement of 1.5 million people from 157 countries to take the global response to climate change to the next level.
