Ulaanbaatar, March 18, 2025 /MONTSAME. A group of students specializing in water resources and environmental studies have come together to voluntarily establish the Student Water Association.
The Association aims at enhancing students’ knowledge on topics such as water resources, water management, water quality, accessibility, sustainable use, and conservation, raising public awareness about the value of water, and promoting responsible usage through education, advocacy, and community engagement. Additionally, the Association plans to implement various projects related to these issues, as well as to organize training sessions, seminars, and research initiatives for students on topics such as water resources management, ecology, mining-related water issues, and agricultural water consumption.
Membership is open to students studying water and environmental sciences who wish to join on a voluntary basis. The Association aims to provide its members with opportunities to participate in international student exchange programs, gain practical experience in their field, enhance their skills beyond the classroom, explore advanced global technologies, undertake professional internships, access job placement services, and support students in pursuing further studies abroad.
