Ulaanbaatar, March 19, 2025 /MONTSAME/. An Art Exhibition titled “Threads of the Soul” by Indian artist Renu Kumar, also known as RK, opened at the Zanabazar Museum of Fine Arts in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, on March 17-19, 2025.

RK previously held her first solo exhibition in Mongolia in 2022, and “Threads of the Soul” marks her second showcase in the country. This Exhibition stands out as it features artworks from the early stages of her artistic career.

Reflecting on the Exhibition, Renu Kumar shared, “I have been creating art for a decade now, and holding this Exhibition on such an anniversary is particularly meaningful to me. It represents a moment of transition, leaving behind a past stage of my journey and moving forward. In the early years of my career, I primarily worked in impressionism, focusing on human emotions and expressions. However, I have since shifted toward abstraction. In “Threads of the Soul,” I have displayed over ten paintings, incorporating both impressionist and abstract styles. Some of my works even blend elements of both. For instance, in “Modest Anticipation,” the background consists of blended hues of red, blue, and other colors, while the foreground conveys the emotions of a woman waiting for love. Going forward, I intend to focus on abstract art, as this style allows each viewer to interpret the artwork from their own perspective rather than being confined to a single meaning.”
