Mongolia’s Men’s Cycling Team Ranks 37th in the World, 3rd in Asia

Ulaanbaatar, April 9, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) has released its latest national rankings, and Mongolia’s elite men’s cycling team has made impressive progress.


Climbing three spots, Mongolia now ranks 37th in the world with 1,047.1 points. Notably, the team has surpassed China, securing third place in Asia behind Kazakhstan and Japan.


Asia now has five teams in the global top 40: Kazakhstan (27), Japan (33), Mongolia (37), Thailand (39), and China (40).


As for the global leaderboard, the top three remain unchanged, Belgium continues to dominate with 20,424.7 points, followed by Slovenia with 17,070.1, and Spain with 15,724.4. However, there has been some reshuffling in world rankings. For instance, Italy has jumped from sixth to fourth (13,149.5), and the Netherlands from seventh to fifth (11,968.3). Also, Denmark slipped from fifth to sixth (11,889.8), and France dropped from fourth to seventh (11,576.8).
