Events in Ulaanbaatar:
April 21: Party groups of the Mongolian People’s Party and the Democratic Party in the State Great Khural will convene.
April 21: A Consultative Meeting between the Development Partners will be organized as part of the preparations for the 17th Session of the Conference of the Parties (COP17) to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD), which will take place in Mongolia in 2026.
April 21: The Joint Photo Exhibition “Mongolia through Photographs” will open at the National Art Gallery of Mongolia.
April 22: The Asian Chess Zone 3.3 Championship, co‑organized by the Mongolian Chess Federation and the Asian Chess Federation, will open.
April 22: The Standing Committee on Social Policy of the State Great Khural will hold a “Candidate Hearing” in the “Great Emperor Chinggis Khaan” Hall of the State Palace.
April 22: Press briefing for the “White Gold” National Movement to be organized.
April 22: International Earth Day will be observed.
April 22: Registration opens at the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the Project Fund for Supporting Women Exporters in the Digital Economy.

April 23: The Cabinet of Mongolia will hold its regular session.
April 23: World Book and Copyright Day will be observed.
April 24: World Immunization Week to begin.
April 24 – 25: Plenary sessions of the State Great Khural (Parliament) will convene at the State Palace.
April 25: The National Library of Mongolia will host the annual nationwide competition “Digital Mongolian Script IV” commemorating National Literacy Day.
April 26: World Intellectual Property Day is observed.
April 26: Academic Conference “Chain Link of Development” for students and youth of Uvurkhangai aimag will be held in Ulaanbaatar.
April 26: “World Circus in Mongolia – 2025” international circus gala performance to take place.
April 27: A high-ranking 3x3 wrestling competition will be organized to determine the Champion of Ulaanbaatar.
Local Events:
April 21–25: “National Campaign Against Cancer” begins in Arkhangai aimag, offering medical examinations.
April 22: Consultation meeting of local farmers in Jargalant soum, Khovd aimag, will take place.
April 23: Public hearing on construction issues to be held in Khovd aimag.
April 27–29: First round of 2025 conscription for mandatory military service begins in Sukhbaatar soum, Selenge aimag.
Events Abroad:
April 25: The IIHF Ice Hockey Division III World Championship will kick off in Mexico City, Mexico, where Mongolia will compete with a 21-man team. The Championship will continue for 10 days.
April 25 – 26: The National Academic Drama Theatre of Mongolia stages the historical epic play “Tengeriin Khuu” [Son of Heaven] at the National Theatre of Hungary in Budapest. The performance will open the 12th “MITEM” International Theatre Festival.
More than ten Mongolian companies are participating in the Expo 2025 Osaka.
The “Chinggis Khaan” International Exhibition is on display at the National Museum of the Czech Republic until June 22, 2025.
