European Union's SWITCH-Asia Program Funded SOAP II Project to Be Implemented in Darkhan-Uul Aimag
The SOAP II project aims to reduce air pollution in Ulaanbaatar city by insulating detached houses. It is being implemented in two phases, from 2018 to 2026. Over the past five years, the SOAP project has helped households avoid 3556 tons of greenhouse gas emissions and 2411 fuel consumption.

Feasibility Study for Ulaanbaatar Sewage Sludge Treatment Facility Completed
Keumgang Corporation of the Republic of Korea pledged to develop a feasibility study for a sewage sludge treatment facility in Ulaanbaatar. Now the feasibility study is ready and it has been handed over to the authorities of Ulaanbaatar city.For the development of the feasibility study, the United Association of Korean Groups provided financing of KRW90 million and Keumgang Corporation KRW 210 million.
