Gross industrial output increases by MNT 2.3 trillion
In the first 11 months of 2018, the gross industrial output reached MNT 14.1 trillion, showing an increase of MNT 2.3 trillion (19.5 percent) from the same period of the previous year. This increase was mainly due to an increase of mining and quarrying gross output by MNT 1.6 trillion (18.3 percent), of which, mining of coal increased by MNT 1.3 trillion (57.9 percent) and mining of metal ores increased by MNT 175.7 (3.2 percent) billion.

In the first 9 months of 2018, by preliminary estimation of production approach, GDP of Mongolia at 2010 constant price reached MNT 12.8 trillion, increased by MNT 0.8 trillion (6.4 percent) compared to same period of previous year, according to the report of the National Statics Office,

Sales of industrial production reaches MNT 14.8 trillion
In the first 10 months of 2018, the gross industrial output reached MNT 12.8 trillion, showing an increase of MNT 2.0 trillion (19.0 percent) from the same period of the previous year. This increase was mainly due to an increase of mining and quarrying gross output by MNT 1.4 trillion (17.2 percent), of which, mining of coal increased by MNT 1.1 trillion (54.0 percent) and mining of metal ores increased by MNT 139.2 (2.81 percent) billion.

Foreign trade turnover increases by USD 56 million
In the first 10 months of 2018, Mongolia traded with 153 countries from all over the world and total trade turnover reached USD 10.8 billion, where exports was USD 5.9 billion and imports was USD 4.9 billion. In October 2018, exports and imports reached to USD 662.0 million and USD 524.5 million, respectively. Compared to the same period of previous year, export increased by USD 56.0 million (9.2 percent).

Consumer price index increases by 6.3 percent
In October 2018, consumer price index at the national level increased by 0.1 percent from the previous month, by 5.6 percent from the end of the previous year and by 6.3 percent from the same period of the previous year.

Lowest price of white cashmere recorded in Dornod aimag
According to the report on average market prices of agricultural products in October 2018, average price of cattle hide, more than 2 meters length, was the lowest in Khovd aimag at MNT 5.0 thousand, while the highest was in Selenge aimag at MNT 20.0 thousand.
