Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Justice D.Dorligjav presented December 22 draft amendments to the Law on Promoting Economic Transparency to the Chairman of the State Great Khural Z.Enkhbold.

This law was adopted last August 7 and is to be effective until the end of December 31 of 2015. The draft amendments suggest extending the term of the effect.

From the day the law took effect and until December 16, a total of 6.1 trillion MNT income has been uncovered, having relief from 1.2 trillion MNT of taxes and 352.1 billion MNT of fine. In connection with this "discovery", related authorities received 1,640 financial statements, 10,276 tax reports, 1,451 bills of entry and 366 social insurance reports, and made 150 changes and additions to 168 types of properties and entities’ registrations.

The law did not exempt the uncovered incomes from social insurance premium and stamp duty, so 378.6 million Togrog has been added to the state budget. The stamp duty revenue in this period amounted to 5.7 million MNT.

In regard to this, the Speaker issued a direction on immediate discussion of this draft by parliament.
