Drafts submitted due to unification of statistics and registration authorities

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The draft amendments to laws on State Registration and on Statistics have been developed due to the merger of the state registration authority and the National statistics office, which will happen January 1 of 2016, said the Minister of Justice D.Dorligjav December 22 while presenting the document to the Speaker Z.Enkhbold.

It has been necessary to newly determine and to finance these bodies’ functions, to eliminate duplications, to maintain the public services with handy organizational structures, and to improve an efficiency of state budget distribution through advancing performance, Dorligjav explained.

In regard to the new management, other draft documents also have been submitted on making changes to the laws on statistics, on anti-corruption, on construction, on customs Law, on prevention of crimes, on social insurance, on social welfare, on value-added tax, on debt management, on pension insurance accounts, on state services, on state and local properties, on legal aid for indigent defendants, on social welfare for the disabled, and on apartments census, along with amendments to parliamentary resolution No.14, No.6 and its annexes, and to the annex of parliamentary resolution No. 87.
