Azerbaijan wants to develop cooperation with Mongolia
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Azerbaijani news agency Azertac reports that the Ambassador of Mongolia to Azerbaijan Mr B.Batkhishig presented Tuesday the diplomatic credentials to the President of Azerbaijan Mr Ilham Aliyev.
The Ambassador reviewed the Guard of honor and handed his credentials to Mr Aliyev. After this, the two sides had a conversation. The President said Azerbaijan is interested in developing cooperation with Mongolia in all fields, adding there is a good potential for doing this. He also recalled with pleasure his meetings with the President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj at various international events and their talks on the development of the bilateral relations. He said the development of political and economic ties is important for the two nations and states.
Mr Aliyev noted that a cooperation between the business circles of Azerbaijan and Mongolia is not so active, adding that it is important that the two countries better know each other and correctly direct business and investment opportunities.
He is confident that the bilateral relations would boost during the diplomatic tenure of the Ambassador Batkhishig in Baku, he said and wished him success in his mission.
In response, the Ambassador extended greetings and best wishes of the President Elbegdorj to the head of state. He highlighted his country`s economic accomplishments in various fields and said he would spare no efforts to develop the relations between the two countries during his diplomatic tenure.
The head of state thanked for the greetings of Mr Elbegdorj and asked the Ambassador to communicate his greetings to the Mongolian leader.
