Parliamentary election will take place on June 29
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At a plenary meeting of the parliamentary session on Friday, a majority of MPs adopted a draft amendment to the law on organizing regular elections of parliament, the Citizens Representative Khural (council) of the capital city and provinces.
As the resolution adopted, voting of the parliamentary and councils’ elections will be held on June 29 (Wednesday) of 2016.
The voting for Mongolian citizens abroad will run on June 17-19 in the Mongolia’s Embassies in foreign countries.
The plenary meeting is discussing a draft amendment on setting up constituencies, the number of quotas, territories and electoral sections.
