Mongolian kid shows success at int’l public speaking competition
Society | EducationUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ 10th grade student of the “Orchlon” school B.Odmaa successfully competed in the 36th International public speaking competition which was held on May 5-13 in London, UK.
She reached the semi-finals at the competition that was attended by youths aged 16-20 years old selected from 50 countries.
In the finals, a competitor from Mexico took the 1st place, who was followed by a participant from the Philippines.
Odmaa’s success at the competition affirms that English language knowledge and skills of reporting among Mongolian youths have reached international standards.
