Mongolian folk band partakes in Oriental Festival

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Ethnic band ‘Blue Mongol’ or ‘Khukh Mongol’ is representing Mongolia in the 2017 Oriental Festival (Festival dell’ Oriente) with their folk performance combined with contortion and folk dance and Mongolian ger stand.
The Oriental Festival is taking place in Italian capital Rome from April 22 to May 1, featuring photography exhibition, bazaar, commercial stand, traditional events and folklore, natural medicine, concerts, dance and martial arts.

Mongolian Ambassador to Italy Ts.Jambaldorj and the Embassy staff were present at opening of the festival to support the ‘Blue Mongol’ performance, introduce Mongolian culture to the festival-goers and serve Mongolian milk tea and buuz.
The ‘Blue Mongol’ group was formed 20 years ago in Germany, and is now based in Bavaria.
