President arrives in Vladivostok for EEF

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga arrived Monday in Vladivostok city of Russia to take part in the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) to be held on September 6-7.
Mr Battulga was welcomed on Monday by I.E.Levitin, Plenipotentiary Envoy of the Russian President to the Far Eastern Federal District, V.V.Morgulov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, I.K.Azizov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Mongolia and B.Delgermaa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Russia. Present at the welcoming ceremony were other related officials at the international airport of city of Vladivostok.
The EEF is being organized for the third consecutive year as initiated by President Vladimir Putin with participation of Heads of states and governments, such as, Moon Jae-in, President of the Republic of Korea, Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister of Japan, apart from the Presidents of Russia and Mongolia. Other participants are the official delegates from China, India, Vietnam and Indonesia, as well as over 3,000 representatives from Northeast Asia, the Pacific, USA, Canada and other countries.
During EEF, President Battulga is expected to hold meetings with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin and South Korean counterpart Moon Jae-in and Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe.
The Mongolian President is being accompanied by D.Ganbat, Minister for Road and Transport Development, Z.Enkhbold, Chief of Staff of the Presidential Office, B.Battsetseg, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and other associated officials.
