2018 - Year of living environment improvement with citizens participation

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The capital city has announced 2018 as ‘Year of living environment improvement with participation of citizens’ to implement 2016-2020 action plan of the Governor of capital city and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar and main guidelines to develop socio-economy of Ulaanbaatar city in 2018, bring local administration organizations’ service to new stage as well as to reflect citizen’s ideas in decision making, increase public involvement and ensure people to live and work in healthy and safe environment.
Action plan of the year will be approved by Governor’s Council after reflecting ideas and recommendations of citizens, government and private organizations in a draft.
In addition, a campaign named ‘Our district – our street’ will run until October 1, 2018 with aims to improve maintenance of Ulaanbaatar city and increase its green development with citizen engagement.
The capital administration also pays attention to construction works and investments in Ulaanbaatar city.
