Minister D.Tsogtbaatar makes report at Belt and Road Davos Forum

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On January 24, Foreign Affairs Minister D.Tsogtbaatar made a report at Belt and Road Davos Forum which was held under subject ‘Interregional Cooperation For a New Globalization’ by United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) during the 48th World Economic Forum in Davos.
In his report the Minister marked Chinese Belt and Road Initiative has significant importance to the development of countries situated along the Road and Belt and he said he is confident that the initiative will give important stimulus to the world peace, stabilization and prosperity, increasing understanding between the countries and creating space for cooperation.
Also Minister D.Tsogtbaatar participated in a forum under the theme 'Creating a shared future in a fractured world' on January 25. The attendees exchanged views on coordinating national interests with globalization and building future with joint vision and purpose.
Within the scope of the forum Minister D.Tsotbaatar held bilateral meetings with Qatari Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, Foreign Minister of Switzerland’s Federal Councilor Ignazio Cassis, Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Korea Kang Kyung-wha, Member of Indian Parliament Kamal Nath and Administrator of United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Achim Steiner. They discussed current issues of bilateral ties.
