Mongolian freestyle wrestlers won 2 gold and 2 bronze medals

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The VI International Tournament in Freestyle Wrestling in memory of the Honored coach of the USSR, the first Yakutian olympic champion Roman Dmitriev took place on March 2-4 at the ‘Triumph’ sports palace in Sakha, Russia. More than 150 athletes from 14 countries partook in 10 weight categories of men.
 
Ten Mongolian athletes competed in the tournament and won two gold and two bronze medals.
 
On Saturday /March 3/ T.Tulga won gold  in 65 kg and E.Batmagnai won bronze in 86 kg whereas on the last day of the tournament /March 4/ M.Lkhagvagerel won gold in 125 kg, Ch.Altangerel won bronze in 92 kg respectively.
 
T.Tulga defeated Khajimurad Gajiev from Azerbaijan by 7:3 points while M.Lkhagvagerel defeated Uzbekistan’s wrestler Khasanboi Rakhimov by 2:2.
