Foreign Minister receives Japanese delegation

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar received Japanese delegation led by the member of the House of Representatives, Mongolia-Japan Parliamentary Friendship Group consultant Yasuhisa Shiozaki on July 30.

Mr. Shiozaki expressed his sincere gratitude to the Government of Mongolia for humanitarian aid to support relief and recovery efforts from the flood disaster in western Japan and emphasized that the assistance is an expression of close and friendly relations between the two countries.

The parties appreciated that the Strategic partnership is deepening and strengthening in all fields and emphasized the importance of intensifying economic cooperation further, balancing bilateral trade by diversifying the economy of Mongolia, and attracting investments and introducing technology of Japan to produce value-added products.

Minister D.Tsogtbaatar mentioned the importance of education, health and social sectors in sustainable development of Mongolia and expressed his gratitude to Mr. Shiozaki  for his generous support to strengthening and deepening relations between Mongolia and Japan as the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare and Mongolia-Japan Parliamentary Friendship Group consultant. 

In addition, the parties noted the significance of bilateral cooperation in ensuring regional peace and stability.
