Initiated by the State Academic Drama Theatre of Mongolia, with the support of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Youth, and in cooperation with the Union of Mongolian Writers, the “Literature Week” Campaign is taking place from September 22 to 28, 2025.

Throughout the week, daily programs with distinct themes, as well as activities designed to bring readers and creators closer together, will be held in the square in front of the State Academic Drama Theatre.

Highlights of the program include a meeting between readers and writers under the name of  Natsagdorj Dashdorj, a day dedicated to the works of Laureate of the State Premium of Mongolia Namdag Donrov, a training on “Writing Plays” to provide practical knowledge for emerging and aspiring writers, and an event showcasing “Three Eras of Mongolian Poetry” through the voices of contemporary poets. Additionally, literary clubs will host events for young readers and enthusiasts.
