Mongolia-Germany consultative meeting held in Berlin
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A regular consultative meeting between the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Federal Foreign Office of
Germany was held in Berlin on October 29. The meeting was co-chaired by
D.Davaasuren, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia
and Petra Sigmund, Deputy Director of Directorate-General for Asia and the
Pacific of the Federal Foreign Office.
The parties held detailed talks on advancing bilateral comprehensive
partnership and cooperation, particularly, mutual high-level visits and
meetings as well as defense, trade and economic cooperation; cultural,
educational, technological and multilateral cooperation; consular affairs; and
other issues.
During his visit to Germany, State Secretary D.Davaasuren presented a
consular patent to Mr. Stefan Schmitz, Mongolia’s Honorary Council for a
consular district in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, and wished success in his
future endeavors.
