ADB's education quality project expected to launch in January

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ State Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports B.Bayarsaikhan received Social Development Specialist of Asian Development Bank Yesuke Tajima on December 17.
The meeting was held for the preparation of launching an ADB project 'Sustaining Access to and Quality of Education During Economic Difficulties'. During the meeting, the parties discussed issues such as approving the next year’s plan, funding of the project and other issues need to be addressed and agreed to launch the project in January, 2019.
Within the framework of the project, buildings of two schools and five
kindergartens will be newly constructed in Bayanzurkh, Songinokhairkhan,
Nalaikh districts and Darkhan-Uul province. Moreover, eights schools and 18
kindergartens will be expanded in Bayangol, Khan-Uul, Songinokhairkhan,
Bayanzurkh, Chingeltei, Sukhbaatar and Nalaikh districts, and in Altai, Govisumber
and Sainshand soums.
