President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga pays official visit to the Kyrgyz Republic
ВидеоOn June 12, President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga and President of
the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov held official talks in the Grand
Conference hall of the Ala Archa State Residence.
At the beginning of the talks, Kyrgyz President Sooronbay
Jeenbekov extended a warm welcome to Mongolian President Kh.Battulga and
emphasized this visit will contribute to the intensification of bilateral
trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation as he believes there is a full
possibility to cooperate in politics.
In his turn, President Kh.Battulga agreed that the visit would
give a significant boost to the development of Mongolia-Kyrgyzstan relations.
He also congratulated Kyrgyzstan for chairing the 2019 Shanhai Cooperation Organization’s
Summit, wishing success to the event.
President Kh.Battulga said Mongolia successfully pursues
multi-pillar and open foreign policy and is giving priority to deepening its
relations and cooperation with Central Asian countries, building mutually
beneficial concrete cooperation, thus ensuring its development. Therefore, the
President exchanged views with his Kyrgyz counterpart on the opportunities for
mutually-beneficial cooperation, especially the ones for financial cooperation,
studying effective transport routes, and cooperating in production of
agricultural, meat and meat products.
Kyrgyz President S.Jeenbekov spoke of his plan to get acquainted
thoroughly with the railroad construction project being implemented in Mongolia
to follow its practice of managing funding and personnel domestically when
carrying out the railroad construction project between Kyrgyzstan and
Uzbekistan.
Moreover, the parties noted the opening of the Embassy of
Mongolia in Kyrgyzstan denotes the elevation of bilateral cooperation and came
up with an idea to set up a working group to realize the issues discussed in a
short time.
On same day President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga attended the
inauguration ceremony of the Embassy of Mongolia in the Kyrgyz Republic
