Mongolian students win medals at International Physics Olympiad

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Mongolian high school students won two bronze medals and special prize at the 50th 2019 International Physics Olympiad (IPhO-2019), held in Tel Aviv, Israel on July 7-15.

Specifically, D.Itgel from Sant School and D.Khongor from 3rd Mongolia-Russia joint school won bronze medals while B.Tsolmon, 11th grader of general educational school No:1, was awarded with the special prize.   

Mongolian students have been participating in the IPhO for about 20 years.

This year, 361 talented high school students from 78 countries competed in the 50th IPhO.
