Intern'l organizations acquainted with implementation of Law on Enriched Food

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Acting State Secretary and Head of the Department of Public Administration and Management of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry T.Jambaltseren received consultants and specialists of the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) on August 1. GAIN senior associates Chris Gilbert and Adeline Provent, and consultant in charge of the Southeast Asian region at Iodine Global Network (IGN) Dennis Bittisnich, consultant at Food Fortification Initiative (FFI) Wilson Enzama, specialist in charge of nutrition at UNICEF L.Munkhjargal, and ministry specialists attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the sides discussed having the consultants of FFI, GAIN and IGN become acquainted with the current implementation of the Law on Enriched Food as per the request made by the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry and UNICEF, and further measures to be taken and technical assistance.
